Snot Update

The moment you’ve all been waiting for…
Bailey’s snot/coughing/sickness seemed worse this morning. She was having spells where she would cough until she started gagging, and I was about to call the pediatrician. Then, miraculously, the coughing decreased. This is her third day on her antibiotic but it’s for her ears, since supposedly the respiratory stuff is viral, so I guess we just have to wait it out.
She has eaten/nursed really well up until today but it’s kind of been a battle finding foods she likes today. She has eaten about ten thousand puffs and some Dutch Apple Dessert. Oh and a little yogurt this morning. Tonight I am working childcare at church but she will be staying home with Daddy. I’m not sure whether she’s contagious anymore but she definitely needs to rest and not be exposed to anything else right now. If she goes with me she is up at least an hour past her bedtime, and she has been going to bed early for the past few nights, so I don’t think that would go over too well.
Also when she coughs something up, she chews on it and swallows it. Yum.
Ugh

We got home tonight from a double date and Jonathon mentioned that his stomach felt a little funny. He proceeded to puke red Chinese sauce all over our bathroom. It was so gross. I tried to be nice and help him clean up and I started gagging. But he said he feels fine now, so hopefully it was just the food
EDITED TO ADD: One thing I can say about my husband though, is he is really good at cleaning stuff. If we ever decide to get into real estate investments he will be the cleaner of all things. (And that isn’t too far off in the future, there is a plan we are kind of working on right now). That bathroom was spotless last night. It still smells like Fantastik bathroom cleaner. He actually prefers to clean the bathrooms instead of letting me do it, because he insists that he gets them cleaner. That’s my kind of man!

Today I got my period for the first time in 16 months. I don’t even have cramps or anything. Dang. I was not ready for this. I guess I should be thankful for such a long break… but seriously
Time to search the bathroom vanities for my “supplies.”
This is something you really wanted to know, isn’t it?
Edited to add: Yes, I do have cramps. In fact I am in quite a bit of pain. But, now we all know I’m not secretly pregnant. Because I don’t want my kids 16 months apart!
