Swimming at Bluebird Pool

Finally remembered to take my camera to one of the last toddler/preschool swimming events of the summer. This is at Bluebird Park’s splash pad- lots of fountains and a wading pool at one end. The kids had a blast and we were joined by several friends that day. Taylor had fun trying to catch the water!

A Snowy Day

I think there is a book called A Snowy Day or something like that… a board book. We read it at Bailey’s “school” a few weeks ago. We had our first snowy day of the year while Jonathon was off work for the holidays. Last year Bailey got to play in the snow just a little bit but this is the first year she’s had boots and snowpants.

She loved putting her snow clothes on and getting ready to go outside. She LOVES her princess boots. In fact she keeps wanting to wear them everywhere we go.

Experimenting with snowballs…

She enjoyed her first ride in her new sled. She wanted to pull Daddy in the sled too but didn’t understand why it wasn’t going to work out.

I think she really liked playing in the snow. It was just so ridiculously cold and, well, my coat does not close in front anymore!

Freezing cold and time to go inside!
