We’re ready for the zoo!

Tomorrow we are going to the trick or treat event at our zoo. Bailey is so excited. We tried on her costume tonight (yes, for the first time!) and it is a little big but it looks cute anyway. It is a Cinderella costume but she has no idea who Cinderella is- she just wanted to be a princess. She keeps saying “I want to wear my princess!”
I think we are going to have to layer it with a shirt and pants underneath. It’s supposed to be chilly but that’s not going to keep us home. She was so excited to put her jammies on and go to bed so that we could wake up and go to the zoo sooner. Let’s cross our fingers that she doesn’t get up at 3 a.m. now. She keeps saying “It’s a holiday Mom!”
Here she is all jammied up and ready for bed. Nite nite, princess Bailey.

Addi is “Cinterella” too. Oh my gosh. She started screaming in the store when she saw the costume. We have the old school version (VHS) of the movie. She wouldn’t leave the store without it even though it was 5 sizes too big. I THINK we are going to the zoo today. Daddy has to go in to work this am, but I’m hoping to be there by 9:30. Can’t wait to see the girls in their princess dresses!

Oops, hit enter before I was supposed to. I was going to add that we were going to go to this cool Pumpkin Path thing tonight but Victoria has swine flu! Maddy brought it home from school and Victoria is very ill. Sigh. Here’s hoping Adam doesn’t catch it. Although he is whiny today, which isn’t like him at all. I hope everyone is better by Halloween night!
