I can tell you right now

My child is NOT a fan of fireworks. At least this year. We tried to go see them last night. She was fine with a few that were shot beforehand, way in the distance. But once the real ones started, the screaming started. As in “Mommy fireworks GET YOU ALL DONE NOW MOMMY!!!!!!” We went into a nearby store and watched out the window. She tried to venture outside once and then a firework went off. She hit the ground like a bomb was dropped.

We may or may not try again next year. Thank goodness tonight when they were going off outside, she thought they were drums. Silly kid.

    Aw, poor things (you both!). Last night, the little one in my belly was sleeping soundly until the fireworks went off. Then it was junp around frantically on mama’s belly until Papa finally drove away pissing everyone off because we had the headlights on as were doing a frantic getaway from the firework show so that mama could get to a toilet. lol.

    That is about how Ricky was. All happy as a clam, chilling in the stroller, little pops were ok. Then the big booms came, along with the tears.

    I’m gonna try to get earplugs for next year.
