Today marks four years of being married. I can’t believe it’s been four years. In a way, it seems like forever. Like I don’t remember what things were like before him (although I do, you know?) But on the other hand it seems like there is no way that four years could have gone by so fast. Bailey was born after we had been married just a little over two years. That was such an adjustment. First we got married, then moved three months later, then we finally got used to living with each other and I got pregnant, then we had her and adjusted to that. I feel like we are finally settled into life. Until the next big change, but I bet that is what it’s always like.

Sometimes we get really irritated with each other. I think, “WHY did I think I wanted to be with him forever?” And then I realize that there is no way I could live without him. We fight, but not for long. We both can be kinda mean when we want to be. But most of the time we are so happy. I am so thankful for him. He is honestly one of the best fathers I know of. He rarely complains about doing things with Bailey- he plays with her, does baths, dinner, bedtime, diapers, etc and always has. If I want to go out for a girls night, he tells me to have fun and understands that I need a break. Sometimes I even come home to a clean kitchen or living room. I can ask him to vacuum or do dishes or whatever and he will do it. He is easygoing and funny and loves to take care of his family. At the end of the day, that’s what I want- someone who loves his family and would do anything for them. And that’s what I’ve got
