Second Child Syndrome

So recently, all these people I know are pregnant with their second (or third) child:

Kasey (it’s actually her first but since we are talking about all these pregnant people…)
That’s a lot of pregnant ladies. Am I jealous? Kind of. But not in a mean way. More like in an Oh my gosh, I think I want to be where they are now kind of way. Most of these people have kids right around Bailey’s age. A few of them, we started reading each others blogs during our pregnancies. They are ahead of me this time. I know it’s not a race. But I finally, finally feel like I want to catch up.

Oh but you will be soon!
Having is two is caaaraaazzzy. You’ve got time to get ready for it still. Don’t worry. But I totally understand why you feel the way you do. Been there myself. Sometimes, I still feel that way..I put pressure on myself to have a third. Then, I realize how insane I am.

(just read my comment..sounds like I was calling you insane, too! Holy crap I don’t think that) Our family is in no shape to have anymore right now, is all I meant. lol (and I’m sure my hubby would be relieved to hear that)
If you focus on that, then that’s what you’ll feel. But don’t forget about us married, childless people too! We’re “behind” I guess you could say, but honestly, I’ve had to stop comparing myself to others and be happy with what I’ve got and live my life at my own pace. Life is too short…I see no reason to rush through it.
I say go for it! Give Bailey a sibling close in age! Best gift to give a child really!! I can’t wait for Victoria to meet her baby brother! And I am wishing that she were just a bit younger, so they would be closer in age, but at the same time, its nice to have her potty trained and able to talk to me and communicate as it won’t be as much work when the baby comes.
