I 2nd the sentiment on character clothes. Not a fan. We receive them from the grandparents usually, so they make good playclothes at home. Every year I have to get over the feeling of "why put it up just to take it down again". I try now to put it up Thanksgiving weekend then I don't have to do anything else unless I want to. Kind of takes the pressure off. The other thing is that this is a good time to really clean - either before setting it up or as you're taking it down. btw baking's done!
