Here Bailey is watching a Baby Einstein video AND reading- her two favorite things!
Bailey is just like her daddy when it comes to tv. She would watch anything that was in front of her, I think. I have caught him watching late night infomercials for stuff like pet supplements, or 2 a.m. documentaries on Korea in the 1940s… right now she likes Baby Einstein a little bit still, but it has to be the “older kid” videos. She is starting to enjoy Dora but only for about five minutes at a time. We try not to watch tv more than once a day but it’s usually either while I’m still waking up in the morning or while I’m getting ready. Okay this is getting not so wordless. I suck at being quiet.

Hee hee…I was just thinking “so much for WORDLESS Wednesday.”
My husband is the same way. Because TV was forbidden in his house, he is crazy for TV as an adult. If it’s on, he’s enthralled. Even if it’s 90210 or an infomercial, he’s watching. Thankfully we are not much of a TV house, otherwise nothing would get accomplished around here.
Oh and my babes can only stand five minutes of TV as well. Especially Dora and her lack of an inside voice.
I really only let A watch TV when I’m feeding him yogurt (it’s the only way he’ll eat it!). His new favorite is, seriously, BARNEY. He LOVES Barney. Totally enthralled. What a stereotypical kid, huh?
Oh, A loves the book that Bailey is reading… “I love you through & through”. We read it waaaay too many times each day! She is such a cutie!
We here.. are tv junkies…
But we really only watch Noggin so I guess it could be worse. Maybe singing the tune to “Franklin” out loud and having it stuck in your head for the entire weekend is worse… lol
