Fishing For Turds

This is quite possibly the most disgusting thing I have written so far. Although I am sure as Bailey gets older, there will be lots more gross posts :(

Bailey had a memorable event today to mark her fourteen month birthday. She pooped in a cloth diaper- which is nothing new- so I went in the hallway bathroom and dumped the diaper out into the toilet. Closed the lid and then got distracted and went to do something else.

You can probably guess what’s coming… About ten minutes later I heard a clunk. I ran into the bathroom to find that Bailey had learned how to lift up the toilet seat (first time ever) and was splashing her hand in the water, trying to grab the piece of poop.

I’m sorry if you just barfed in your mouth while reading my blog. I promise to make up for it with some cute (non-poop-related) pictures soon!

Oh Bailey! Ailane was fascinated with the toilet as a toddler. She used to love to flush the contents of the drawers… especially my makeup.

You mean you didn’t grab your camera so you could catch the moment in full color digital form? ;)

    Oh that brings back memories….
I was changing James quite a few months back and I see him licking his fingers while changing the gross over flowy poopy diaper. I pull his fingers towards me to see what it is…
    he’s licking some brown stuff..
EEEWWWWWWW I seriously haven’t really told anyone that. There’s probably a good reason. *contemplating whether to just delete this comment by hitting backspace key*
The child wouldn’t eat my cooking, but he’d eat that. I was pretty insulted.
    LMAO
