Something dorky

Jonathon is doing something really dorky in our storage room. He is linking like five or six laptops together and says they will run as one big computer. He is adding more laptop memory and also doing something about a server. I am not sure what his goal is here (he already has his own server) but it is currently overtaking our storage room. Does anyone else’s husband get one weird project kicks like this, which will ultimately accomplish basically nothing?

My husband doesn’t do this but being a computer person myself, I understand Jonathon’s thinking. Even if you don’t see anything practical come of it, he’s learning and thinking and creating in his own way. Try to support him in whatever ways you can think of while he’s doing it. It is important to him.
Ricky hasn’t gotten into those types of weird projects (kinda neat though..LOL..the outcome is gonna be killer..LOL) ..but when he tackles projects like..I dunno..cleaning the bathroom..he does it weird. Like, the last time I caught him cleaning the shower with a used toilet brush??!!

My husband hasn’t done exactly that, but he’s working on it. We already have some sort of internet hub in the closet, that I helped wire (hey, I’m good at the small stuff) even though I’m not exactly sure what those wires do or what exactly that box is doing… …and we watch TV through a computer, which is something I would have never done on my own.
