janet evanovich is good. i also like james patterson a lot and the plum storylines from janet are similar, somewhat. murder mysteries if you will.

i’m listening to the thornbirds by ?? mccullough right now and i really really like it.

"Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks is a good one. I love everything by Nicholas Sparks.

"The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls is an excellent book.

"Diary of a Mad Mom-To-Be" is good. Light reading, basic chick-lit, but not too stupid.

I love all of Jodi Picoult's books. I haven't read one yet that I haven't liked.

Nicholas Sparks! He wrote The Notebook, my all-time favorite movie! His books are romantic but not trashy! My favorite book of his is The Wedding. But I have yet to read a book of his that I do not like.

The boog group I’m part of just read My Sister’s Keeper. Its a story about a girl who was conceived to be a bone marrow donor for her sister with leukemia. I also read The Life of Pi, but that one was a bit heavier.

The two books I've recently ENJOYED in a huge (educational, yet entertaining) way- Birthing From Within AND Birth- The Surprising Story of How We Were Born (Tina Cassidy).

The Kite Runner was also sensational... but I've in a preganancy/birth reading mode lately...
