Baby Gender Poll

We find out in two days whether our baby is pink or blue! I have gotten so excited for the big ultrasound within the past few days… if I don’t keep myself busy or force myself to think about something else, it’s going to make me crazy.

Originally I really wanted a girl, but thought it was a boy. Okay, so I still really want a girl. I can honestly say I have no feelings either way now about what it is. I have realized that I really will be happy with either gender (yeah, good thing I’m going to like my baby, huh?) and although I have always wanted a little girl, a little boy would be pretty cool too.

My thoughts on having a boy: Jonathon would be thrilled. Plus, the boy would be a big brother to our other kids. Also, boys and girls are pretty similar, in the beginning at least, except that girls are more fun to dress! I don’t know, they have pretty cute boy stuff out there too, though. See, I really go back and forth on this constantly. Then, I remembered the little boy, Henry, that I used to nanny for. I loved him, and he was a boy. It’s possible

Of course, I have to say this (not only because it’s true but also because I know someone will decide to scold me and bring it up if I don’t– the main thing I am hoping for Thursday is that the baby is healthy.

ANYWAY, here is my question for you: Do you think I am having a boy or a girl?

It could be based on what you know about me or my pregnancy already, what I’ve written here, or just a “feeling.” Please either post your vote here as a comment, or email me privately if you know me. I will post the results tomorrow, and on Thursday we will get to see whether you all were right or not!

I will be the third person to know after you and Jon! Because I will be in the waiting room! Because my ultrasound is just a few mins before yours! Weird timing, but cool timing! Yay, look how excited I am! I cannot stop with the exclamation points! Here’s another for good measure!

I say girl. Based on your cravings and a gut feeling. I will be shocked if it is a boy. But happy because then I get to buy some boy stuff for a change.

Having never been pregnant, I don’t know all of the “signs” for a boy or a girl, but I’m going to guess that you’re having a girl. Can’t wait for the results!

Mae, I have a feeling that I am going to need a bathroom break before running out to tell you the news. I have already been dreaming about peeing on the ultrasound table/tech/myself.

I say a girl….remember the pics of the dresses, frilly socks, and bows on you at your mom’s house…you’ll do the same thing! I can’t wait!!!!

I first thought boy because you weren’t very sick but that’s different i think for everyone each pregnancy, i think girl because of the look in your eye on your last photo- but i had no clue what tyler would be lol- let us know!!!! i still have like 2 months to wait for me!!!! lucky duck also have you registered anywhere yet?

Julie- God bless you for working at Mr. Goodcents. Please don’t ever tell me anything bad about that place. We are going to register this weekend at Babies R Us so that our parents can get us some stuff for Christmas to decorate the nursery! I am so excited! We will probably register at Target at some point later on.
