Alison (my nanny-kid) was busy playing and just doing her own thing. Then she stops and looks at me with a wrinkled eyebrow face.
“Tara ate a baby!”
Then goes back to playing. Mystery solved. I guess that’s how that baby got in my tummy…

What are your feelings about telling kids how kids really get in the belly?
I guess it depends on the age. When I was in preschool, I asked my mom how I got in her tummy. She said, “Daddy and God put you there.” At that age, that was enough of an answer to satisfy me for a long time. I remember envisioning my mom laying on a cloud, and Daddy and God poking around her stomach sticking a little baby in there.
